Matthew Tavi is an Associate Attorney at the Ann Arbor office of Shea Aiello, PPLC. Matthew graduated from Michigan State University in 2014, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Following graduation, Matthew earned his Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School in May of 2017.
During law school, Matthew focused his studies on various facets of transactional law, particularly taxation and business planning. Matthew won the Transactional Law Competition, which is designed to enable students to experience transactional law in a real-world setting, and went on to represent Wayne Law at the Regional Transactional LawMeets® Competition. While in law school, Matthew also earned his FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 certifications to further compliment his background and interest in transactional law. Matthew was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in November 2017 and is a member of the Oakland County Bar Association.
Matthew currently concentrates his practice on Estate Planning and Business Planning at Shea Aiello, PLLC. Matthew helps clients navigate the intricacies of estate planning by preparing and creating Wills, various types of Trusts, and Powers of Attorney. Matthew also assists clients with business entity formation, succession planning, and many other transactional aspects of their businesses. Matthew’s ultimate goal is to achieve the best outcome for his clients, and to provide effective counsel and strategies that will help clients navigate the most difficult and complex legal issues.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, running, and attending Detroit sporting events.
