Jaime Fergus is an Associate Attorney at Shea Law, PLLC. Jaime graduated from Carleton University in 2015, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Psychology. Following graduation, Jaime earned her Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Detroit Mercy and the University of Windsor in 2019. During law school, Jaime received two Book Awards for outstanding academic performance in her Health Law and Juvenile Appellate Law classes.
Jaime was admitted to the Ontario Bar in June of 2020 and the State Bar of Michigan in January of 2021.
While in law school, Jaime served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Richard Halloran of the Wayne County Circuit Court and participated in all courtroom functions, including drafting judicial opinions.
Jaime currently concentrates her practice on Estate Planning and helps clients achieve their estate planning goals by preparing and creating various types of Trusts, Wills, and Power of Attorney documents. Jaime firmly believes in the importance of developing a comprehensive estate plan with a qualified estate planning professional.
Outside of work, Jaime enjoys spending time with family and friends, and playing intramural sports.
