Benjamin Asp is an Associate Attorney at Shea Law, PLLC. Ben graduated from Ferris State University in 2015, earning a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. After graduation Ben spent some time working as a corrections officer. Ben earned his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law in 2020.
During law school, Ben enjoyed learning about many different faucets of law. This included International and Japanese law, which he learned about in his summer study abroad in Japan. Ben spent time during the school year working as a legal assistant at the Attorney General’s Office, assisting with cases involving clergy abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault.
Ben currently concentrates his practice on Estate Planning at Shea Law, PLLC. Ben helps clients achieve their Estate Planning goals by preparing Trusts, Wills, and Powers of Attorney documents.
In Ben’s free time he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Marissa, his cat, Cashew, and watching the Detroit Lions. Ben hopes that one day the Lions will win a Super Bowl.
